Limón Rainforest Adventure: Hanging Bridges & Wildlife
Enjoy a beautiful trail through the rainy mountains of Limón, Costa Rica. The trail is 1,064 meters long and offers an amazing opportunity to discover the rainforest, its flora, fauna and beautiful scenery.
Along the way, you will cross three suspension bridges: bridge number one is 37 meters long and 12 meters high, bridge number two is 42 meters long and 19 meters high, and bridge number three is 67 meters long and 22 meters high. The trail also includes three walkways measuring 3, 3 and 17 meters long.
The tour begins among heliconias and banana plants, passing an old artisanal well before entering the beautiful rainforest, full of life and wildlife. Visitors may see white-faced monkeys, Congo monkeys, sloths, three types of frogs and many other species. The forest is also home to impressive centennial trees with trunks up to 5 meters thick.
About 75 meters before the end of the trail, visitors can enjoy a traditional Caribbean snack surrounded by nature. A ranch located after the cocoa area offers local specialties such as patty, pan bon, plantintá and toad water, adding an authentic taste of Caribbean culture to this unforgettable rainforest adventure.
